Helldorado is the third game in the Desperados series.
Plot[]
Angel Face's widow kidnaps and poisons Doc McCoy, and unless Cooper does some 'menial' tasks for her, she will leave Doc to die. These menial tasks inevitably brand Cooper and his friends as criminals, since they involve robbing a bank and stealing a train full of U.S. Army weapons. While Cooper and his team are forced to perform the tasks, they discover that they - as is Mrs. Goodman - are mere pawns for a more dastardly plot: the Mexican revolutionary El Cortador's plan to assassinate the President of the United States. The team eventually intercepts the plan, kills El Cortador and saves the President.
Gameplay[]
Gameplay is similar to the Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge. A new feature named as combo action is added to the game where any two characters can perform a special ability in combination. For example, Hawkeye can shoot a dynamite arrow if Sam has already attached a stick of dynamite to the arrow. There are total 15 combinations for each pair from six characters. Another feature is added to game where Player can see the performed Quick Actions in film mode as well as have it so Quick-Action Mode will pause the game while the player sets up the orders.
In addition, many of the mechanics from Desperados 2 were refined, knocking out enemies from a Laying Down/Crouched Position is now possible, Combat was re-balanced to be more fair and animation errors/animations that were too slow were fixed.

Trivia[]
- The game was originally developed as an add-on for Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge and was named as Desperados 2: Conspiracy. As publisher Atari missed several payments to Spellbound during development of Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge, Spellbound released the project as a complete game with another publisher Viva Media but could not gain the rights to the Desperados name.
