A Fistful of Dollars is the sixteenth mission in Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive. In this mission John Cooper and his team decide to break in to Carlos's bank.
Overview[]
In this mission, the group has to sneak into the secret stairway hidden beneath the statue in order to steal Carlos's money.
Cinematic[]
John looks at the note found in Carlos's safe. The note shows a date and a meeting place. He deducts that the map in the paper is where El Diablo and Carlos will meet. Sanchez confirms this by saying the gang leaders have to pay EL Diablo every month in exchange for information and protection. Sanchez rushes the group to go to the meeting place. Story[]
Carlos notices someone broke into his office. He is furious with this and promptly orders his henchmen to catch whoever break into his office. After this, the scene turns to John and the rest of his team (except Kate). John explains that since there is no money in the safe, Carlos must have hidden all his loot in the bank. If they manage to steal all of Carlos's money, he will not be able to pay El Diablo, and thus Carlos will suffer severe, potentially fatal consequences.
Luckily, Pablo remembers a secret tunnels hidden beneath a statue that leads directly to the bank. When asked by McCoy on how does he knows all of this, Pablo answers he does not remember how. Despite this critical information, the group needs Kate's help in order to safely traverse the town. Unfortunately, three of Carlos's henchmen stop Kate from escaping the hacienda and reaching the groups.
The group decides to rescue Kate first before getting to the statue. Even with increased security around the town, they were able to help Kate escape from the two henchmen. After that, the groups open the statue, and enters the bank through the secret tunnels hidden beneath it. Inside the bank, there were many guards. However, with Kate's distraction and McCoy Gas tubes, they were able to knock out all the guard. The groups steal all Carlos's loots in the bank, and move on to the next destination.

- First, help Kate out of her predicament, so she can move freely around town and help you break into the bank.
- Sanchez is strong enough to push the statue in the park aside the reveal the secret passage.
- As soon as you have broken into the bank and put the guards out of action, you must get the money to the rendezvous point.
